AMS was established in 1988 at Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. The location was chosen for its close proximity to a major city, yet far enough away to enjoy the many beaches & hinterland on its doorstep.

AMS Director, Mark Radford, has gathered a team of dedicated technicians consisting of 4 x L.A.M.E 's, 2 x A.M.E's, 2 x apprentices & 2 administration staff plus regular subcontractors when needed, to carry out duties from light maintenance & component overhaul to heavy maintenance & major rebuilds.

AMS capabilities include maintenance of piston & turbine powered aircraft up to 5700kg for IFR Charter category. Complete service is guaranteed from picking up & delivery of aircraft by one of our pilots, Glenn, Alan or Mark and all aspects from engine overhaul to radio installations catered for.

Each job is assigned by Manager, Glenn Hayman, to one of the co-ordinating L.A.M.E's who specialise in certain aircraft types to maximise in efficiency & safety. The job co-ordinator is then responsible for keeping the customer informed with the progression, costing & completion of work. All co-ordinating L.A.M.E's have at least 10 years experience in the aviation industry as a minimum requirement.
